Stephanie Amaterstein moved to Melbourne city at 15, having been accepted into the VCA to study dance. After returning from a gap year she became a dance school dropout and pursued a career in her true passion, visual art, which would lead her to the expressive world of tattooing.
With her knowledge of the structure and flow of the human body from her dancing days, skin has now become her canvas. She uses bold colour and elements of realism, drawing influences from psychedelic and organic concepts.
Over the last 7 years Stephanie has been refining her style to include hours of intricate line work, sacred geometry and mandalas.
